What did you have for breakfast today?

You have all heard it before “breakfast is the most important meal of the day”.

It’s true!!!  In a study by American Journal of Clinical Nutrition, breakfast eaters were approximately 30 percent less likely to be overweight or obese.  They also found that eating breakfast helped reduce dietary fat and minimize impulsive snacking, could this be the key to your weight loss success?.

The study gave two groups the same calorie intake each day,  but one group ate breakfast. This group lost more weight than the non breakfast eating group even though their calories  each day were the same.

Muesli, porridge or poached eggs on wholmeal or rye toast are great breakfast choices.  Include some berries and ground flax seeds for a super healthy boost!   Commercially available cereals often contain high levels of sugar and salt and are very expensive, so why not buy some oats?
